TEMPORARY POLICY FOR SIGNING OUT OF WORK LIST

Local 81 is temporarily amending its procedure for signing the out of work list. Effective 4/6/2020 INITIAL signing of our books shall be allowed via fax (570-344-6934) or by e-mail (local81referral@yahoo.com). Please include the following information: Name, address, phone, Local #, card #, and whether it is an intial sign or a resign. PLEASE NOTE  All resign procedures are still in place. All resigns must be receieved between the 10th and the 16th of each month.

Three Mile Island's Last Working Reactor Set to Reopen in 2027

Constellation Energy plans to restart the Three Mile Island Unit 1 reactor in 2027, one year ahead of schedule, under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft. The facility, now renamed the Crane Clean Energy Center, will provide carbon-free power exclusively for Microsoft's AI data centers.
